About Us
Child-centred, community based early education centre
Community Run Pre-School
Established on 17 September 1977, Aberdeen Pre-School is a Community Based Centre. The Aberdeens Lions Club raised money to purchase our land and then, with the help of a government grant and community support, that’s how Aberdeen Pre-School was created. We are a registered child care provider with the Department of Family and Community Services and a non-profit pre-school. Run by a management committee consisting of parents of children attending and other interested community members. We have a child-centred program that’s based on the principles outlined in the National Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) -
Belonging, Being and Becoming.
Early Childhood Centre
We welcome children from the ages of 3 to 5 years old, with the aim of helping them to reach their full potential and provide them with a smooth transition to school. Our objective is to provide the highest quality care for children attending our pre-school, so they feel safe and secure in a friendly environment. We embrace diversity, inclusivity, respect and collaboration within our community.
Our Educational Team
All our staff are carefully selected, based on their personal attributes including empathy, respect, warmth and their passion for learning. We are committed to working for the best interests of our children and families. Our teachers and educators are all qualified and experienced with ongoing professional development to ensure their knowledge and skills are kept up to date.
